At the Arab Leadership Institute, we are committed to making our resources and programs accessible to everyone. By embracing inclusivity, we aim to amplify the transformative power of leadership and knowledge across the Arab world.

Our Approach to Accessibility

We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to improve accessibility for individuals with disabilities. These guidelines outline three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The Arab Leadership Institute strives to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards wherever possible, though some elements of our platform may still need refinement to fully conform. We recognize the importance of accessibility and are committed to continuous improvement. Our development process incorporates industry best practices and draws on the principles of the WCAG. Additionally, we consider the Authoring Tool Accessibility Guidelines (ATAG) to ensure that our tools are inclusive and user-friendly.

How We Improve Accessibility

The Arab Leadership Institute regularly evaluates and enhances platform accessibility using feedback from users, accessibility interviews, and testing methods such as keyboard navigation checks and automated accessibility tools.

Compatibility with Browsers and Assistive Technologies

Our platform is tested for compatibility with modern browsers such as Chrome and Safari and is optimized for use with assistive technologies like VoiceOver on macOS. However, we do not support older browsers, including Internet Explorer.

Measures to Support Accessibility

We are dedicated to:

  • Integrating accessibility standards into every stage of our product development lifecycle.
  • Responding promptly to accessibility feedback and making necessary adjustments.
  • Involving users with accessibility needs in the design and evaluation of our products.

Your feedback is invaluable to us. If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please let us know. You can reach us at info@arablead.org. Together, we can ensure that leadership and knowledge remain accessible to all.
